St. Moritz go big for World Snow Day 2019

04. January 2019
St. Moritz's tradition in snow sports is known the world over. The area, also know as the Engadin, has been bringing children to snow sports for more than a century. Now in 2019 the tradition will continue.

For the 8th edition of World Snow Day the ski schools of St. Moritz Suvretta, St. Moritz, Celerina, Sils Maria, Silvaplana and Pontresina will unite to offer all children free ski lessons on the 19th and 20th January 2019. The action is coordinated by Engadin St. Moritz Tourismus AG and supported by local partners.

FIS President and St. Moritz native Gian Franco Kasper commented “This is a great activation and a necessary one if the destination would like to keep its snow sports heritage. I hope the event continues in the years to come, we are looking forward to seeing the results.”
